Kishan PG कॉलेज की स्थापना 1959 में पंडित शिव हर्ष उपाध्याय ने की थी। कॉलेज विज्ञान और कला स्ट्रीम के विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों में स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान करता है। बस्ती में कॉलेज उच्च शिक्षा की रीढ़ है।
इतना ही नहीं यह कॉलेज बस्ती के प्रथम डिग्री कॉलेज के रूप में जाना जाता है।

SKPG College Alumni Association (SCAA) is a private registered body which is monitored by the bye-laws. It is a non-commercial Association with an objective of providing a platform for Alumni to come together and support the “Shiv harsh kishan PG College in building the Institution of world class. The spirit of the Association is to strengthen the alumni by cherishing the values and memories of their association with the SKPG College, and interacting on continuous basis with the other alumni, students and the faculty along with administrative staff.
